Asistmi Solutions is founded by Mr. Praveen Nallapothula, a 25 years IT veteran. Prior to Asistmi, Praveen founded a Telecom Products company called TeleDNA Communications Private Limited and was a CEO till May 2011. Praveen helped the Company develop highly scalable and reliable mobile telecom products and market to Telcos around the world. He has also helped the Company raise 10 million USD of Private Equity Funding.
Praveen has a BTech Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Madras University and a Masters in Computer Science degree from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, USA. Praveen worked for Motorola in Arlington Heights, Chicago, USA for its Cellular Infrastructure Group.
Praveen always loved teaching young software engineers what it requires to deliver world class quality software products - which he is proud to say that he has learnt from Motorola.
Dr.Tanmay Chattopadhyay (Tanmay)has over 20 years of experience in industry primarily in theareas of marketing, sales and business strategy. He has held a number of leadership positions in senior management in the industry.He is viewed as one of the industry experts in replacement batteries sector of India. He has extensively worked in sales and marketing roles for the top two automobile brands of India – Exide and Amaron.
Tanmay worked as a General Manager (Marketing & Business Strategy) in Exide Industries Limited with the responsibility for the aftermarket sales division of the SF Sonic brand of automotive and motorcycle batteries with accountability for market share and PBT in addition to chalking out the strategy for the company’s automotive division.
As a Marketing Manager of the aftermarket program of Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Tanmay was also responsible for the launch of the brand’s two wheeler range of Amaronbatteries and in the conceptualization and roll out of Power Zone brand. Currently, Tanmay is working as a management consultant for an upcoming new automobile battery brand in India.
Tanmay has a doctorate degree in management from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, a post graduation degree in management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune and a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Kolkata.
He has several publications in international journals on brand management and has also presented papers in international conferences across the world. He is associated with a few management colleges in Kolkata (like B.I.T., Mesra Kolkata extension centre and Calcutta Media Institute) as a part time faculty where he teaches brand management, consumer behaviour and market research. He is also a visiting faculty to Indian School of Business, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chetna’s Institute of Management.
